Donald Trump’s Air Force One boardings often see him spar with opponents or field questions on pressing national issues, but his latest appearance became a spectacle for a very different reason.
On Monday, October 5, the president made his way towards his Nebraska-bound plane in a zigzag pattern while notably declining to engage with the media.
His decision to remain silent appeared to attract little attention, but his unusual gait quickly became the focus of online discussion.
“He isn’t beating the ‘Can’t walk in a straight line’ allegations,” one person commented.
As the mockery intensified, the White House stepped in to defend Trump, calling his critics “stupid” and insisting that his walk was “perfect.”

A one-minute, fifteen-second video shows Trump getting off Marine One before walking toward Air Force One.
The 80-year-old can clearly be seen drifting left at first before correcting himself and returning to a straight line, which lasted only a second or two as he veered left again for several steps.
Moments later, he took one large step to the right before rerouting towards the left and continuing forward.
The public wasted no time poking fun at Trump’s unusual walk.
“I guess his leg braces aren’t working today,” one person wrote, while another quipped, “He would have failed a field sobriety test today.”
“Put him on a leash the next time,” a third remarked.
“Or let him walk off a cliff,” offered a fourth.
A separate user, meanwhile, suggested Trump may not have made it to the tarmac without being accompanied by the Air Force One captain.
“The pilot trying to match his steps was so funny,” one person said.
The White House responded sharply when asked to address the matter
Davis Ingles, a 32-year-old communications graduate from Florida’s Southeastern University who serves as the president’s spokesperson, was not forgiving towards the critics in his statement.
“You must be blind or stupid, because that was a perfect walk,” he said.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung, for his part, took direct aim at the publication that had reached out for an answer.
“The only thing veering is the Daily Beast’s relevancy,” he said.
This, however, was not the first time the president’s gait had become a talking point.
Trump previously faced scrutiny over his walk while hosting the Chinese and Russian heads of state
Chinese President Xi Jinping was in the US between September 23 and 25, with a bilateral meeting taking place between him and Trump on September 24.
As Trump welcomed Xi on the red carpet rolled out for the occasion, netizens noticed what they perceived as difficulty in his movements.
“He is dragging his right leg,” one person said.
“He keeps tapping his leg during his walks. Something is definitely off,” another speculated.
Before that, Trump himself walked the red carpet — albeit unevenly — to meet Vladimir Putin during the August 2025 diplomatic summit held in Alaska.
“80 years is just too old to be holding the office,” one commentator said at the time.
Trump’s walks have not been the only physical detail to attract public scrutiny.
The president has been seen with several problematic health markers in recent months
Speculation about Trump’s well-being intensified in January 2026 after bruising became visible on his hand.
The White House initially attributed the marks to frequent handshaking before revising its explanation, saying Trump had struck his hand against the corner of a signing table.
Trump also said his daily aspirin intake made him more susceptible to bruising.

Attention later turned to swelling in his ankles, which officials described as an improvement from the previous year.
Observers then noted episodes of drowsiness, including reports that the US commander in chief had nodded off in the Oval Office.
The White House, notably, has dismissed every speculation surrounding Trump’s fitness for office.
“President Donald Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function. He is fully fit to carry out all duties of the commander-in-chief,” a May 2026 press release read.

Terrifying Video Shows Amazon Boeing 767 Barreling Off Miami Airport Runway And Bursting Into Flames

A routine landing at Miami International Airport turned into a terrifying scene on September 6, Sunday afternoon, when an Amazon cargo plane ran beyond the end of the runway and crashed onto a nearby road.
The Boeing 767 struck several vehicles before coming to a stop, with flames and thick black smoke rising from the wreckage.
Footage from the scene captured the huge aircraft sitting across the roadway as people nearby reacted in shock.
At least five people lost their lives in the crash, while emergency crews rushed to the scene and worked to put out the fire.
The Boeing 767 overran the runway during landing and quickly burst into flames
The aircraft was operating Prime Air Flight 7598 and had flown from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Miami. It landed at Miami International Airport at around 2 p.m. local time on Sunday.
According to FAA data, the Boeing 767 was 32 years old and landed on Runway 30, which stretches for more than 9,000 feet.
The plane did not stop before reaching the end of the runway.
It continued beyond the airport pavement and crossed NW 67th Avenue, where it struck multiple vehicles. The aircraft eventually came to rest across the road way near an Amazon warehouse.
It remains unclear why the plane could not stop in time.
A review of air traffic control audio by CNN found that the pilots did not declare an emergency before landing.
The National Transportation Safety Board said it was gathering information about the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration will also investigate what happened.

A video obtained by NBC 6 showed the huge cargo plane appearing askew across the roadway as thick clouds of black smoke poured from the wreckage. Flames could also be seen coming from the aircraft.
Several cars and trucks had stopped around the crash site.
People could be heard reacting in disbelief as the fire continued to burn.

The aircraft appeared to remain largely intact despite the violent crash. However, the plane damaged navigational equipment after leaving the runway.

Other videos circulating online showed the Boeing 767 lying on the ground just beyond the airport runway.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said crews arrived to find the aircraft on fire.
“Units arrived to find an airplane that had caught on fire as a result of this crash, with heavy flames and smoke showing,” the agency said in a post on X.
More than 60 fire units responded to the crash, according to a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesperson who spoke with CNN. Crews also worked to assess people who may have been injured.
At least five people were reported d*ad.
The crash immediately triggered a major emergency response at the airport
A ground stop was ordered while crews dealt with the wreckage and fire. The ground stop was lifted at around 5 p.m. ET, but the FAA said delays would continue into Monday because the disabled aircraft remained at the scene.
The airport’s runways also had to be closed temporarily as emergency crews responded.
Despite the scale of the crash, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said there was no apparent threat to public safety at the time of a Sunday evening news conference.
The scene, however, remained active as investigators and emergency personnel continued their work.
Inspection crews later reported that they did not find aircraft parts or debris scattered across the runway. The plane damaged navigational equipment when it left the pavement.
Authorities have not yet released a full explanation of what caused the aircraft to continue past the runway.
The Boeing 767 was operated by 21 Air, a cargo airline based in Miami that performs flights for companies including Amazon and DHL
Amazon confirmed that the aircraft was one of its Amazon Air planes.
“We can confirm that an Amazon Air plane operated by 21 Air experienced an incident while attempting to land at Miami International Airport today,” Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel said in a statement to CNN.
She added that the company was still trying to understand what happened.
“This is a fast-moving situation, and we’re still gathering details. We’re working closely with local authorities and officials to understand exactly what happened.”
Nantel also said the company was focused on those affected by the crash.
“Right now, our absolute priority is the safety, well-being, and care of everyone involved. We’re doing everything we can to support those affected.”

The crash also highlights a type of aviation accident known as a runway excursion.
This happens when an aircraft leaves the designated runway area during takeoff or landing.
According to data from the International Air Transport Association, runway excursions are the most common type of aircraft incident worldwide.
Airports such as Miami International have designated safety areas around runways. These areas act as a buffer if an aircraft goes beyond the paved surface.
In this case, however, the aircraft continued far enough to reach a road outside the airport and collide with vehicles.

He, who accompanied his mother to the Las Vegas event, claimed their family had felt “separated” ever since Benjamin passed.

Easter Egg Hunt Turns Into Nightmare For Young Mother, Baby And Teenager

An Easter egg hunt turned fatal for a young mother, her infant daughter, and a 16-year-old in Germany.
The victims, identified as members of SterniPark, a state-funded welfare organization for pregnant women, parents, and children, were crushed by a 100-foot-tall tree uprooted by “a strong gust of wind,” according to authorities.
“It was windy yesterday in Europe,” a netizen corroborated, while many sent “prayers and condolences to the families” of the deceased.

The incident occurred around 11 a.m. local time on Sunday, in a wooded area near Satrupholm, a village in the municipality of Mittelangeln.
The Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) issued warnings for gusts of up to 50 mph (80 km/h) for northern Germany. These speeds are known as storm gusts and are known to be capable of uprooting mature trees.
The windy conditions were said to subside only after Monday, April 6. Even with that alert, SterniPark opted to proceed with their scheduled egg hunt.

According to reports, an estimated fifty residents and staff of SterniPark were present to participate in the event.
Four people reportedly got pinned down by the fallen tree. A woman identified as a 21-year-old mother passed away on the spot alongside a teen.
Her 10-month-old and another teen, aged 18, suffered “serious injuries” and were airlifted to a hospital in Kiel.

The names of the victims have not been released.
Photos from the scene obtained by the German outlet News5 show Easter eggs scattered across the ground beside the fallen tree.
Grief counselors were also spotted there.
Local politicians and SterniPark have addressed the tragedy, with social media users echoing their sentiments
Daniel Günther, Governor of Schleswig-Holstein, where SterniPark is based, alongside Interior Minister Magdalena Finke and Youth and Families Minister Aminata Touré, said, “Our thoughts are with the family members of the d**d, with the injured, and with everyone who had to experience this terrible occurrence.”
“A falling tree brought a terrible end to the joyful Easter egg hunt. We mourn the loss of three young people,” a statement by SterniPark read.

Two men discovered a 50-milliliter vial of polonium-210 in the garden of their home in Vaihingen an der Enz near Stuttgart while looking for Easter eggs, according to several reports.

Heidi Klum is confident in her style, and she won’t let anyone tell her otherwise.
In an interview with The Times, the 51-year-old defended her fashion choices and clapped back at those who criticized her for her revealing clothing.
“I’m not shy about my femininity,” she said. “I love dressing up where I have my cleavage showing, wearing miniskirts, high heels, gorgeous stockings — but that doesn’t mean I want to go home with you.”

In the past, fans have slammed Heidi for her style, labeling it “inappropriate” and “sick,” especially when she participated in two lingerie photoshoots with her daughter.
But to the America’s Got Talent judge, the clothes she wears are an extension of her “personality.”
“Why not?” she said. “I want to have fun and show my body, but I have boundaries, as do all women.”
Much of Heidi’s inspiration for her fashion choices stems from her childhood, specifically thanks to the women in her family.

She recalled, “There’s this carnival in Cologne every year and I used to go on the float. My grandmother was a seamstress so I always had lots of outfits, or my mum would make something for me and my Barbie to match, which is amazing as Mattel rang me one day and I have my own Barbie now.”

Heidi later showed her doll, saying a detail that always bothered her was their lack of clothing.
“It always bugged me that they were naked,” she said. “I didn’t like how none of them wore any underwear, it’s undignified. Mine has a cute pair of pink knickers and a bra painted on. I’m very proud of that.”

On October 31, the 51-year-old showed up to her 23rd annual party with her husband Tom Kaulitz dressed as the female and male versions of E.T. from Steven Spielberg’s 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.

She spoke with People on the red carpet, dishing out the inspiration behind her otherworldly costume and saying she was always “a big fan” of the creatures.
“[I] kind of thought about the universe in a different way and I thought E.T. was so cute and how he was wiggling around and all the moments when E.T. got dressed up with a wig and everything so I just thought it would be fun to become E.T. and especially to see two,” Heidi said.

Long flowing locks, a strong physique and a thick mustache—that’s apparently the internet’s idea of a stereotypical Australian male look, as Ethan Katzberg, Olympic gold medal winner for hammer toss recently found out after fans started tweeting about his striking appearance.
“Nah I want a DNA test, this man is clearly Australian,” wrote one viewer after the Canadian athlete secured his victory with an astounding 84.112 meters throw last Sunday (August 4,) well ahead of his competitors, Hungary’s Bence Halász and Ukraine’s Mykhaylo Kokhan, who scored 79.97 meters and 79.39 meters respectively.
“I don’t think I expected it, but I had the preparation in mind to get a good round on the first throw, and to throw 84 meters felt really good,” Katzberg said in a post-performance interview.

The 22-year-old champion granted his home country their first ever Olympic gold medal in hammer throw.
“We’re absolutely thrilled for Ethan,” said Wanda Urbanowicz in an interview with GlobalNews Canada. Wanda is a coach from the Nanaimo Track and Field Club where Katzberg trains
“As a coach in the club I’ve been able to watch him develop since he was in 8th grade. His dad, who specializes in hammer throw, pushed him to follow in his steps, but before that he tried his hand at many disciplines like hurdles, race walk, high jump. He was always training,” she recounted.

“Even in winter. I recall seeing him shoveling snow off the tracks so that he could practice a few throws before hitting the weights.
“The amount of work that went into this achievement is incredible. It’s hard to put into words how it feels to see an athlete go from [an initial] level, all the way to the pinnacle of Olympic gold,” the coach explained.

As a representative of Canada, Katzberg won gold medals in the 2023 Budapest World Championships and the 2023 Santiago Pan American Games. He also won silver in the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
His fellow Canadian celebrated on social media as others joked about his striking appearance, which he shares with another athlete from the same country: Rowan Hamilton

“I’m not changing anything about the mustache or the hair,” Katzberg said in an interview.
“I know that there’s some controversy, I can’t lie. Rowan Hamilton has said that I’ve copied his style and it’s true. I copied his style,” he continued, addressing the comparison that has arisen between him and his compatriot who came up in 9th place for the event with a score of 76.59 meters.
