The Impact of Celebrity Barber Features in Fashion Magazines

A man’s haircut and beard style are significant factors in creating his identity. Guys want to feel confident about their looks and search for the best barbers to develop their personal style statement. Actors, hip-hop legends, and sports stars also want to deal with barbers who are full-fledged influencers. These prominent barbers are often featured in fashion magazines.

Fashion magazines draw the attention of a community that attracts professional barbers and style-conscious men. They provide information on the latest events in the salon industry. At the same time, celebrity barbers can discuss their views on barbering. These professionals believe they are the crafters of new hair and beard styles. They have the power to transform and manipulate others’ looks.

Celebrity Barbers Transforming The Salon Industry:

Like other industries, the fashion world is highly dynamic. It is not just about the new designs and styles of outfits or makeup products. Certified and reputed barbers in fashion magazines discuss different topics, such as skin and hair trends, dramatic looks, and grooming techniques. Their information and advice can bring transformation to the barbering industry. Even if you are an experienced barber, you should keep your knowledge updated by reading fashion magazines regularly. You will learn how successful and well-known barbers have recreated the look and style of their barbers.

Although you may find edited photos of some male models in fashion magazines, the information in the journals is highly important for your profession. If you are searching for full-time barber jobs in Denver, you should read fashion magazines daily.

Hair stylists, beard grooming specialists, hair-dying experts, and even makeup artists are featured in fashion magazines. These reputed professionals are aware of the preferences and needs of young guys who always want to upgrade their styles. So, celebrity barbers and salon professionals have a significant influence on the fashion world.

Barbers In The Magazines Set New Standards:

Eminent barbers in fashion magazines have the potential to set some standards. So, salon professionals who need to serve their clients regularly should meet those standards. As they want to please their clients with the best quality services, it is essential to go through the magazines. In fact, fashion magazines allow emerging barbers to connect with grooming artists and high-profile barbers.

Salons that have not met the desired standards of their services may not expand their businesses. Thus, trends and the latest information provided by famous barbers can make a difference in their businesses.

Conclusion:

Fashion-conscious men like to read fashion magazines to learn about the latest trends. However, these journals and magazines are not just sources of information about grooming trends. In the salon industry, barbers must stay knowledgeable and continue their learning. So, they can read these magazines to keep their knowledge up-to-date. They will be able to improve their processes and provide the best experience. Fashion magazines allow them to learn how celebrity barbers apply different techniques to create new trends. Although you can communicate with these barbers through social media, magazines are best for updating your knowledge.

50 Pets Who Thought They Were Hiding, But Actually Weren’t

Pets are a wonder — they never stop brightening up our days with their hilarious shenanigans and weird little quirks. After all, looking at them jumping, pouncing, and getting us just as excited for the day as they are is a source of entertainment right there.

However, sometimes our beloved goofballs feel this overwhelming urge to crouch behind furniture, run underneath the bed, or bury their heads in the couch. Especially when they’ve done something mischievous. But while some of them are true masters of camouflage, others hilariously try to go unnoticed and fail in the best possible way.

Today, we bring you a list full of amusing pictures of our beloved four-legged friends who are so terrible at playing hide-and-seek, their owners just had to take a brief pause from laughing, snap a photo, and share it with everyone online. So continue scrolling, upvote the ones that made you smile, and make sure to check out Part 1 of this post right here!

#3 Hiding In Plain Sight

The concept of hide-and-seek is uncomplicated to us humans — one hides, the other seeks. But our pets seem to have their own idea of what going under the radar actually means. Whether they get scared, chew on something they’re not supposed to, or simply want to act all goofy, our companions are drawn to the cozy confines of private spaces. But the truth is, we can often see them in plain sight.

To find out more about this peculiar urge to hide and what we should do about it, we reached out to Kate Mornement, Ph.D., who goes by the handle @petbehaviourist on Instagram. Being a qualified animal behaviorist and founder of the consultancy Pets Behaving Badly, she strives to help people better understand these charming creatures living under their care.

She told Bored Panda that animals usually hide because they’re afraid. “When pets hide, they’re telling us they’re scared or need space. Things that often cause pets to hide include loud noises, unfamiliar people or animals, and things they associate with unpleasant experiences, such as the cat carrier coming out before a vet visit.”

Kate explained that some sneaky critters also try to go unnoticed when they have an object they shouldn’t have. “They hide because they’ve learned that that delays or prevents the item being taken away,” she added.

It seems this behavior is based on their natural instinct to escape potential danger. “It’s part of the ‘fight, flight or freeze response’ which is a survival instinct,” Kate told us. “Hiding when you’re eating food is also a survival instinct. If you eat alone, you consume more compared to eating with others competing for the same food.”

#9 My Kitten Likes To “Hide” In This Jar, And Her Brother Is Confused

Pets move around in their surroundings using impressive senses of smell, sound, and vision. But as you scroll through this list, it can be quite surprising to see how many pets are simply terrible at the art of stealth. Even cats, the most celebrated hiders out there, seem to hilariously fail sometimes. Though they’re trying their best, and we love them for it.

#12 Master Of Disguise

When asked why some of our four-legged friends can’t seem to find a well-concealed hiding spot, Kate noted it’s probably because they don’t understand the concept of the game.

“I think we misinterpret a lot of our pets’ behavior in general, so it’s important to learn how to read your pet’s body language to ensure you understand them and can help them overcome any fears they may have,” she continued.

Still, happy pet owners enjoy taking pictures of and genuinely laughing at these funny failures: “Sometimes our pets do goofy things that make us laugh. Sharing these moments with others who can relate makes us feel good.”

#15 They Both Chose The Same “Hiding” Place At The Vet

The good news is that you can indeed help your pet stop spending so much time hiding under or behind objects. “Training pets not to hide under things involves helping them be comfortable with the situation that causes them to hide,” the animal behaviorist explained.

“For example, if your pet hides when visitors arrive, teach your pet that visitors predict good things by having the visitor throw your pet their favorite treats. Also, ask visitors not to approach your pet or try to interact until your pet initiates interaction. This will help alleviate their fear over time,” she added.

So if you ever want to try out hide-and-seek with your beloved companion, Kate said that playing games with pets is a fun way to bond with them. “Just make sure that your pet is also enjoying the game!”

40 Times Doggos Acted So Ridiculously When Riding In Cars That Their Owners Just Had To Take A Pic

Our best friends, our bestest boys and girls, can become real goofballs the moment they set their paws inside cars. After all, dogs love showing off their playfulness no matter where they are. But cars have something magical about them that brings out the inner puppy in some doggos.

To brighten up your day and give you something to smile about, Bored Panda has collected some of the funniest and most wholesome photos of dogs riding in cars and all the shenanigans that they get up to. Remember to upvote your fave pics and share photos of your car canines in the comments.

While there are lots and lots of dogs that adore being chauffeured around because car rides give them a sense of adventure and resemble going hunting, other canines have an aversion to vehicles. However, there are ways to encourage your dog to love cars. The Arizona Humane Society told Bored Panda that owners have to use positive reinforcement to get dogs to behave in a certain way. Read on for the AHS team’s insights.

Kelsey Dickerson from the Arizona Humane Society explained that dogs can be very responsive to their owners’ moods and will often respond to their tone of voice, body language, and demeanor in any situation.

“It is always recommended to use positive reinforcement when your pet is exhibiting behavior that is wanted by giving them high-value treats, verbal praise, and love!” she explained. So if you want your dog to learn to love car rides, positive reinforcement is the way to go and you should steer clear of punishing your pet.

“It is especially important to never punish your pet after it has exhibited a behavior you do not like unless you are actually catching them in the act. When you punish a pet for something it did previously, they do not have the cognitive ability to understand what you are punishing them for and it may even increase the unwanted behavior by causing your pet to have extra stress and anxiety.”

One reason that dogs might avoid car rides is that they associate the trips with negative experiences. For instance—going to the vet or getting carsick.

Meanwhile, shelter dogs might have had traumatic experiences linked to cars that you don’t know about.

Whatever the reason why your dog might be afraid of cars, the steps that you can take to encourage your dog to join you on car rides are simple enough. They just require patience, love, and understanding.

If your dog is carsick, The Spruce Pets suggests that you get over-the-counter medicine to ease their motion sickness. Obviously, ask your vet for their advice first. Oh, and just to be safe, avoid going for a ride whenever your dog just ate.

However, if your dog is scared of car rides, you’ll have to put in much more effort. But the gist is simple: bit by bit, you have to help your dog associate rides with positive experiences. Treats, praise, toys, and belly rubs can help you ‘bribe’ your dog to approach the vehicle and then get inside.

The important thing is to make sure that your dog doesn’t feel trapped inside. Keep up the encouragement as you start up your engine; make sure to go for shorter trips first. And remember—you can’t rush these things, but soon enough your doggo will a happy car-riding goofball like the rest of ‘em.

People Are Loving This Ohio Judge Who Gives A Taste Of Their Own Medicine To Animal Abusers

Animals have rights just like us and they should be respected. And no animal deserves to be treated with cruelty. These sound like two very basic ideas, right? Unfortunately, there’s an unseemly number of people who enjoy abusing animals or don’t even realize they’re doing it. Some of them even escape the long arm of the law.

But those who don’t may have ended up in front of judge Michael Cicconetti of Painesville, Ohio. The now-retired judge used to give out creative and unusual punishments to animal abusers as a way to give them a taste of their own medicine. That way, the lesson that hurting animals is wrong is more likely to stick.

Just to be clear, the judge never gave out illegal or dangerous punishments. But he did want to teach people who are cruel to animals something about not being utter jerks.

More info: Facebook | Twitter

Judge Cicconetti used to give out very creative sentences where the punishment actually fit the crime

He made one woman, who left 35 kittens in the woods, spend a night in the woods all by herself

Meanwhile, a woman who kept her dog in filth spent the day in the town dump

You can hear the judge talking to the defendant right here

But what kinds of punishments did the judge give out? In one case, a woman abandoned 35 kittens (yes, you read that right—35) in the woods. So the judge knew she needed some help understanding that what she did was wrong.

He sentenced her to spend a night in the woods. Here’s what he said to her that time: “How would you like to be dumped off at a metro park late at night, spend the night listening to the coyotes, listening to the raccoons around you in the dark night, and sit out there in the cold not knowing where you’re going to get your next meal, not knowing when you are going to be rescued?”

Meanwhile, the judge sentenced another woman whose dog was living in filth to spend a day at the local dump. “I want you to go down to the county dump, to the landfill, and I want them to find the stinkiest, smelliest, God-awful odor place they can find in that dump and I want you to sit there for eight hours tomorrow, to think about what you did to that dog while you smell the odor. If you puke, you puke.” Now those are some seriously Biblical punishments.

Here’s a video that goes into more detail about the judge

Judge Cicconetti started doling out these punishments when he realized that jail time only leads to offenders repeating their crimes. According to the judge, he always makes sure that the sentence fits the crime. Judge Cicconetti absolutely adores animals. That love for all living things started when he got his very first dog, Herman (he was a Dachshund). Now, the judge has a 10-year-old Bernese mountain doggo named Kasey.

Here are some more of the judge’s unusual sentences:

-A man who committed child abuse was sent to a school in a dog outfit and had to talk about child safety.

-During heavy blizzards, he ordered defendants to clear snow at a retirement home.

-A man caught with a loaded gun was sent to a morgue to see corpses.

-A young man who stole a bicycle spent 10 days riding a bicycle to support a local charity.

-A man who shot a dog was sentenced to donating 40 lbs of dog food on every holiday to the Lake County Animal Shelter.

-Two teenagers who scrawled 666 on a nativity figure of Jesus had to lead a donkey through the streets, with a sign saying: “Sorry for the jackass offense, but he is soooo cute!”

-Teenagers who flattened tires on school buses were ordered to throw a picnic for the primary school children whose outing was canceled due to the prank.

-A man who committed a traffic violation while shouting “pigs” at police officers was made to stand on a street corner with a 350-pound pig and a sign that said “This is not a police officer.”

-An 18-year-old male who stole pornography from an adult book store was ordered to sit outside the store wearing a blindfold and holding a sign that read “See no evil.”

-Three men soliciting sex were ordered to wear chicken suits holding signs that read “No Chicken Ranch in Painesville.”

-In January 2008, Cicconetti sentenced a man who stole a red collection kettle holding about $250 from the Salvation Army to spend 24 hours homeless.

-A woman who was convicted of stealing from a church was ordered to spell out the sentence “I stole coins from this church” entirely in coins and apologize to each worshipper as they entered the church.

-A woman who skipped out on a cab fare was ordered to walk 30 miles in 48 hours. Thirty miles was the distance the cab driver had driven her before she skipped out on the fare.

-A woman who pleaded guilty to assault for using pepper spray on a man was given the choice to serve 30 days in jail or serve three days of community service and be shot herself with pepper spray. After agreeing to the latter she was sprayed and found out it was only water.

-A nanny accused of hitting a boy with a belt was compelled to read articles on the consequences of child abuse, and then discuss them in the courtroom in front of the judge, the victim’s mother, and spectators.

Internet users thought that the judge’s sentences were spot-on

Finnish Photographer Proves Fairy Forests Are Real In Finland (41 Pics)

Many people think of Finland as the land of cold weather and darkness. However, Ossi Saarinen (previously here and here), a Finnish photographer, believes that the country is much more than just that, and he shows another surprisingly enchanting side of his motherland.

Ossi brings delightful feelings through his photos of spectacular Finnish nature, especially the untouched forests covering almost three-quarters of the whole country. And within these peaceful and ancient forests, wild animals roam freely and enjoy their lives at their best.

Finnish animals appear to be very mysterious, fascinating and charming just like they’ve stepped out from fairy tales. Ossi does not skip the chances to capture the beauty of Finnish wildlife either. He believes that every encounter between the animals and humans becomes an unforgettably amazing experience (Well, let’s not talk about the encounter with a bear).

Now, let’s enjoy the fairy tale’s atmosphere in his photos
